Takita Tunstall
CEO, DIRECTOR
Takita Tunstall is a dedicated childcare expert who proudly owns and operates The Fairy GoddessMother Nannies & Domestics Agency. With an impressive career spanning over two decades in the field of childcare, including five years as a Career Nanny, Takita's passion for nurturing and advocating for children and domestic workers shines through.
Takita's commitment to advocacy is evident through her role as a Board Member of the International Nanny Association (INA). In this capacity, she tirelessly advocates for the rights and recognition of Domestic Workers, promotes cultural integration and acceptance, and amplifies the voices of Nanny Moms, all while ensuring the welfare of the children they care for.
Takita's upbringing as the eldest of six siblings instilled in her a profound sense of responsibility, which further fueled her passion for childcare. Her diverse career journey, which includes teaching in the Baltimore City Public School Systems and working in a children's hospital, has solidified her commitment to understanding child development and behavioral management, particularly in the study of Autism.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Takita is a devoted Biological Mom of two, a caring Stepmom to one, and a dedicated Host Mom to Foreign Exchange Students each year. Currently, she is on a path to becoming a Foster Mother, further exemplifying her unwavering commitment to providing love and support to children in need.
Takita’s life and career are a testament to her nurturing spirit, deep expertise in childcare, and unwavering dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of children and domestic workers around the world.
